Our Story
How It Started
Ady Baker started A Baker Construction and Son in Littlehampton in 1989. One tradesman, a van, and a reputation to build from scratch. Over 35 years later, his son works alongside him on every project, and that original approach has never changed.
The company has grown steadily because the work speaks for itself. Extensions in Worthing, loft conversions in Bognor Regis, full refurbishments in Chichester, groundworks across Rustington and Angmering. Hundreds of projects. Every single one coordinated and managed on-site by us, drawing on the same trusted network of carpenters, bricklayers, roofers, groundworkers, plasterers, electricians and plumbers we have partnered with for years.
Most of our work comes through word of mouth. Homeowners who used us in 2005 have recommended us to their children. That is the measure we care about most.
